Recommended Study Material for IFE Level 4 Diploma (Previously Certificate)  in Fire Science & Fire Safety

This qualification recognises the knowledge and understanding of those operating in, or preparing for, a range of roles at level 4 including Station Managers and other fire professional specialists (e.g. Fire Safety).

In order to achieve the qualification, candidates must complete two mandatory units and two optional units. Each unit is assessed by an examination lasting three hours. Please see the separate qualification specifications in the syllabus for full details.

This qualification covers an extensive range of specialist topics and candidates are advised to prepare for questions on all topics. Candidates should use the content listed below as the starting point for their study.   Candidates are also advised to review past examination papers. Only the last 2 years of past papers, together with the associated examiner reports on the papers, can be downloaded, free of charge, from the Past Papers link here.
